While it is not the intent of the Administration to interfer with any
system carrying IDSnet, all IDSnet participants must abide by all
present and/or future rules set by the administration. All IDSnet
rules are determined the owner, Ian Singer, with each BBS being
responsible for enforcing them.
The network will support any bbs software that can handle QWK or FTS
properly. If there are problems the causing bbs will have to fix them
or be removed.
Illegal, Profane, offensive, obscene, indecent, demeaning, unethical,
abusive, insulting. slanderous of instgative posts are not allowed and
can be grounds for removal from the net.
Message encryption and debug scripts are not allowed.
English is the official language of the network, but we may open up
some foreign language conferences.
Mail read/write priviledges must not be given to users currently
suspended.
| Software specific macros, or ansi, are not allowed in any conference.

ALL boards in IDSnet must have the current IDS_YYMM.ZIP information
file available as a FREE download.
Hub Sysops may not TCAN any user from the network without prior
approval from the IDSnet administration.
All Hubs must transfer mail at least once per day unless they are
temporarily unable to do so.
Network taglines must begin with the string "IDSnet".
Do not enable any origin taglines other than your net software.

Make all conference proposals or suggestions in the Net Admin
conference.
A conference must have sufficient user/Sysop interest before it is
considered.
Conferences construed as "adult or immoral" can not be added to IDSnet.
All new conferences will added to the host BBS, on the first of the
month.

NetAdmin : Public / Required - Admin topics, all users are welcome.
Apply : Private / Required - ONLY required for Hubs.
Others : Public / Optional - Hubs must carry any and all
conferences that their nodes ask for.

The Network Administrator reserves the right to admit or deny entry to
any BBS SysOp or user. The Network Administrator reserves the right to
remove and/or suspend net access to any member for any action that is
considered harmful to the network's well being. Each hub has the right
to approve nodes, but can not allow mail transfer to start until the
sign-up fee and application have been received by the
Host BBS, IDS Place, at 416-252-1133 if paying by Visa,
or to

if paying by mail. All applications must be accompanied by a CDN$ 40
(+ $2.80 GST), or US$ 30 one time sign-up fee. This fee will be waived
for all applications received prior to 1 June 96.
